PRP - Platelet Rich Plasma
Is a natural therapy based on harnessing the natural healing powers of your own blood.
During this process, a small quantity of your own blood is extracted and subsequently centrifuged to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the red blood cells. The obtained plasma is then combined with a growth factor and injected. It serves as a supportive structure to enhance the synthesis of collagen and elastin in the skin, resulting in skin tightening, reduction of fine lines, and smoothening of wrinkles.

FAQs
You may experience bruising, swelling and/or tenderness 24-48 hours post treatment.
PRP Facial Injections: We recommend treatment every 6-12 months, depending on the defecit.
PRP itself does not generally cause adverse reactions. Sometimes there are minor side effects due to injecting techniques or the area injected. The effect is very localised and lists as pain, swelling, bleeding, redness, irritation, ecchymosis.
Not recommended for people with cancer, pregnant or lactating women, auto immune diseases. It is not recommended to have corticosteroid injection at treatment site within 1 month.
Avoid touching your face for at least two hours to allow injection site(s) to heal over and avoid infection.
Gently massage the injection areas with a neutral cream 3 days post treatment.
Bruising may be reduced by the use of arnica cream. Available at your local pharmacy.
Do not apply ice packs to the treated areas, as platelets do not like extremes in temperatures.
Avoid strenuous or vigorous exercise, extremes of temperatures and alcohol for 48 hours after treatment.
